Like other anti-depressants, Celexa is also prone to create lung problems in newborn babies whose mothers had been taking the drug. But if a person becomes pregnant while in treatment with Celexa, it is a very delicate situation and only a qualified doctor can advice whether to continue the drug or not.
People who have allergy to drugs should not take Celexa. Also, persons suffering from diseases like liver and kidney diseases, epilepsy and bipolar disorder should not take this drug.
